Buying a home is never completely straightforward—especially buying a home while navigating an overseas military relocation with a young toddler! But from the moment we interviewed Chris (and decided to hire him as our realtor), there was no doubt in our minds that he would have our backs—and he delivered everything he promised!

He would go the extra mile to point out local businesses and resources while we were house hunting and even chose centrally located restaurants for lunch that allowed us to a get a feel for the local flavor in each area we visited. Whenever I would ask about potential remodels or custom finishes to improve a kitchen or a bathroom, Chris would say, “I have a guy for that!” He has a very large network of other professionals he can recommend for projects.

Lastly, Chris is an excellent communicator. There was never a time that we called him and he didn’t pick up immediately, or text back within minutes! On Sunday on Memorial weekend, we saw a listing that we wanted to check out. Chris met us the next day in Williamsburg ON Memorial Day to see it because he knew that the clock was ticking! And sure enough, that ended up being our home and we went under contract the very next day.

Chris was amazing! We had to move with very short notice and an incredibly tight time frame to another state for my husband's job. So when we came up for 3 days from out of state to look for our new home we had to push to find the one in that 72 hours and he did just that. He kept a positive, kind and respectful disposition the entire 72 hours even though we were all exhausted cramming so many houses in 3 days, but in the end he listened to what we wanted and helped us get exactly that! Chris Stahl and eXp Realty KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK with walking me and my wife through buying a home in Newport News. From first contact he was great to work with. Some highlights included him being VERY communicative and being a huge advocate for what we needed. He did this in spades when we were having trouble getting the electric service setup in our new home switched to our name. After many, many phone calls from our end to the electric company with no questions answer, Chris dug in (while we were flying in from IL to close on a property) and was able to get the electric situation handled. So, HUGE thanks for him for these effort which really eased a great deal of stress on our end. His problem solving skills truly paid off!
